In the External Sliding Door the panels run free and parallel to the wall, thanks to a rail that can be recessed into the ceiling or installed on the wall and covered by an anodized profile (mantovana).

A system that deliberately captures the attention, imposing itself with strength and turning into an important decorative complement.

The Linea version consists of a 50 mm thick anodized aluminium perimeter frame, which contains a glass plate 8 mm thick (4+4 if stratified) in five variants: clear glass, clear glass with mesh, acid-etched glass, RAL back-lacquered glass and mirror.

Technical features

The Linea External Sliding Door consists of:

Guide support frame in wood and extruded aluminium alloy (EN AW 6060);
High performing sliding guide with high flow rates;
Lower directional system to keep the centre line of the door in axis while sliding. It gives high stability to the panel preventing it from swinging sideways during handling.

Rail support available in recessed version in the suspended ceiling, completely concealed, or visible guide (named mantovana);
Equipped as standard with a recessed handle on an anodized plate;
Top rail anodizable as the other metal components;

Clear Glass

A noble and precious material capable of giving refinement to any environment. This type of glass has maximum transparency, which allows natural light to pass from one environment to another and a clear view of what is behind the door. Clean and minimalist, clear glass makes spaces wider and brighter, and offering a valid alternative to classic masonry walls.

Backlaquered Glass

Elegant and bright with a matt or glossy effect. Retro-lacquered glass allows playing with reflections and colours. It is characterized by the overlapping of two sheets within which a lacquered layer that can be ordered in any available RAL colours is sandwiched. It is particularly suitable for partitioning spaces requiring more privacy.

Clear Glass with mesh

This option features surprising combinations of glass enhanced with fabric or metal inserts. This laminated glass makes it possible to create a variety of stylistic and sensorial solutions. Depending on the material selected inside the layering, it is possible to achieve different transparency effects, which can enhance and complement any furnishing style.

Acid-Etched Glass

Achieved with coupling two sheets within which an acid-etched layer is sandwiched, thus producing a satin-polished texture with a “see-through” effect. The glass surface thus loses its shine, while always ensuring the passage of light. The result is a glass which, after undergoing a particular chemical treatment, reduces transparency by blurring the view of the other side of the panel.

Special Glass

The glass panels take on new features when undergoing satin finishing and chemical etching. The glass is available in a wide range of shades and can be further enhanced with the application of mesh and texture engravings that permit obtaining customized materials and products. A decorative solution that enhances with unique textures, reflections and colours.

Mirror

Mirrors are obtained from a glass manufacturing process which yields the traditional reflective characteristic. Mirrors are valuable elements that added to interiors give the optical illusion of larger and more radiant spaces.

Perforated Slab

Thanks to a specific and highly engineered process, the perforated slab can come in different patterns and geometric motifs adapting to the most various needs and aesthetical demands. Depending on the model chosen, the slab may be self-supporting or require application to glass panels. The slab shades follow the palettes of RAL lacquering and anodisation in fine-grained brushed, coarse-grained, and matt polished colours. With the perforated slab, the elegant "see-through" effect reaches the maximum level of customization. Important Note: The final outcome of the perforated slab may differ based on the panel's measurements.

Anodization

The anodized aluminum frame is available in four standard fine-grained brushed colors, with a choice of warm and cool shades. Other coarse brushed or matt polished colors are available upon request. This treatment, by which the metal surface is coated with a protective oxide layer, protects the frame from corrosion, also giving it unique aesthetic properties.
